Andrew was born and raised in the New Jersey suburbs. He first experienced the wonders of North Carolina when he was stationed at Fort Bragg as a U.S. Army paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, leaving the Army as a decorated veteran. Following his time in service, he returned to New Jersey to fulfill his boyhood dream of attending Rutgers University. After graduation, Andrew worked in the home building industry, handling such complex matters as negotiations, planning, and employee supervision. During the same period, Andrew volunteered in his community as a firefighter. As part of this experience, he graduated from the fire academy, and successfully earned a state firefighter license (NJ).

Currently, Andrew enjoys running marathons with his wife and spending time with their children and dogs. Andrew also enjoys woodworking, farming, and restoring old tractors, as well as being active in the community and with veterans' organizations.

Andrew is also a regular contributor to websites and blogs aimed at offering general legal information to the public. To see some of Andrew's contributions: Click Here
